This website is dedicated to the Birmingham painter Margaret Noble and commercial artist Douglas Maxfield. Their works were discovered by their grandchildren after being hidden away in the derelict bathroom of the family’s Welsh cottage for over 70 years! Here you will find a showcase of their work. I have had prints made of some of them, which you can buy (indicated by a shopping basket icon). Please keep in mind the images on the site are lower resolution and the prints are high resolution and printed on high quality paper.

Noble Arts was established in 2003 on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. We are now based in the historic City of York. The company was created to exhibit and sell the recently discovered fine art watercolour's by Margaret Noble and has been expanded to include my Grandfather's commercial work. The company is run by Emily Mollan - Margaret Noble and Douglas Maxfield's grand-daughter.
